Healthy friendships begin with a focus on the positive. See the good in friends and the things they do. Try to talk more about good things in life. In a healthy friendship you give your time, your energy, yourself. You also receive similar portions of the other person’s time, energy and themselves. You know that you are in a healthy relationship with someone because you feel good about yourself when you are around that person. Unhealthy relationships can make you feel sad, angry, scared, or worried.
